Managing Director’s Statement

Jake Ezair has several Directorships and has worked in management and finance over the last twenty-five years with connections to firms in industries ranging from construction and house-building to electrical engineering and petrochemicals.
His stated ambition is promote Oaktech’s role as a key developer of anaerobic digestion and mechanical biological treatment in the UK waste industry, which he feels remains elusive despite its eco-friendly qualities and Green energy credentials. As such, he enjoys and will encourage use of new or novel applications of AD technology and the integration of engineered solutions to particular aspects and areas for treating and diverting waste from landfill.
Currently chairman to a group of property development and management companies engaged in urban regeneration (www.northerngroup.org), these businesses have a strong leaning toward incorporating ecological features such as combined heat and power generation and ground source heat pumps. The process and know-how employed provides synergies and supports Oaktech’s role as a developer of biological treatment projects.
Jake is a fellow of the Institute of Management and holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Manchester Business School.
